Same Shit... is a deadpan black and white pencil illustration for anyone who has ever stared down a Monday. The drawing is done in soft graphite on plain white paper, with fine cross hatching in the wrinkled face, a pale gray hoodie shaded just enough to feel soft and slouchy, and a few spatters and loose sketch marks at the edges. Across the chest of the hoodie, the motto is scrawled in rough, brushy black capitals, uncensored and unbothered. Our star is a magnificently jowly bulldog with a heavy brow and half closed eyes who looks like he has seen it all before and is not impressed. It is a brilliant pick for anyone who loves dry humor and sketchbook style illustration, and it brings a knowing laugh to any wall.

• Artistic Style: This piece is contemporary pencil illustration with a streetwear attitude, built from delicate graphite hatching, soft gray shading on the hoodie, and rough brush lettering across the chest. The artist keeps everything black, white, and gray so the wrinkles, the slouch, and that world weary expression carry every ounce of the joke.
• Artist Details: Balazs Solti is a self taught illustrator who has earned a following for his imaginative animal portraits and dry, clever humor. His pets and wildlife take on thoroughly human moods and wardrobes, and he keeps his palette minimal so the individual character and spirit of each creature comes through, as this hoodie wearing bulldog proves with a sigh.
• Interior Fit: This print belongs in a home office, a garage workshop, a college dorm, or a bachelor pad that appreciates blunt humor. The monochrome palette looks great on white, charcoal, or exposed brick walls and pairs well with black frames, industrial shelving, and other street style prints, and it makes a hilarious gift for any bulldog lover who is not a morning person.
